Antique Tonic Bottle
Old Antique Bottles.... need help identifying. please.?
I have a few bottles i found on the shore of the creek i live on,
(in the mud, Very nasty)
1st.) It's a greenish tinted bottle that reads:
"Palmer Brand" then "property of s.c.palmer co. inc." and on the other side on the bottom " 8 flu.ozs. Washington, D.C"
2.) it's a small clear bottle (medicine) it reads " GROVES TASTELESS chill tonic prepared by paris medicine co. st. louis."
3.) a small rectangular clear bottle, cork still in it. it reads only " A & P extracts" on both small sides.

I'd just like any more info or links to websites where info about these bottles are. And if you know or can logically guess the pricing of these and dates. Thanks so much. <3
Well, I can kinda help with the second one - the Groves company moved to St Louis in 1891, and stayed there until they were bought out in 1957. The tonic was actually more popular than coca cola for quite a while - it was used by the British Army to ward off malaria, due to the high content of quinine.

Edit - Also found something on the first one - Palmer was a bottler from Georgetown - the bottle you describe is apparently worth about $5.
