Medical Pharmacy
School of medicine or pharmacy Harder: go?
Ok, I am a biology major in my first year of college. School of curiosity, How medicine and pharmacy are different when a student is seeking? Did they both have the same GPA requirements wise, MCAT?, And other things. This technique is more difficult to achieve if so, how? I'm really happy to know the answer, you can plan my route and decide the principle of where I went with the drug.
Well, it's really good to have options when planning your life and medicine and pharmacy are the main areas to enter. But anyway, the pharmacy school is 4 years and so is for medical school, pharmacy school, but only requires 2 years of undergraduate study to complete the pre-reqs. School of Medicine need at least 3 years of pre-reqs but most students complete their undergraduate med BA / BS before going to medical school. In terms averages, School of Pharmacy requires at least 2.5 to enter and medical schools generally did not set a weighted average minimum cumulative, but most students have, on average, 3.3-3.5. Lately, many pharmacy students were graduating before attending the school of pharmacy to increase your chances of being accepted. Medical schools require the MCAT tests and pharmacy require the PCAT, but not all schools need it, so far, but some schools are looking to change that. As for courses, medical schools require more than a school of biology, pharmacy elective. I hope it helps! And good luck to all, "Red --
