Nurse gave my mother bad bottle IV?
My mother is in a nursing home bed bound and unable to speak. Nurse I called home to tell me that another nurse had given my mother a drug iv bottle was mislabeled. I started queston to ask then changed his story and told me to really want mislabeled. That, in fact, a nurse was in the room IV bottle with her mother for another patient. Then the nurse has been suspended other room and returned to the mother forget who belonged not the mother. She administered intravenously mother when he was her drug. I am very angry. F What is something that would could cause more damage? the nursing home said they called the docter he said he will be fine. But I'm so angry that I want to make sure it never happens again to the mother or any other patient at the nursing home. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do?
has several options ... first ... I could take him home in second place ... you could make a big scandal the nursing home so that they change their policy on what happens in these occasions .. Third ... You can sue their butts and will surely change policy ... Just remember tho .. If you decide to continue ... You should also take his mother out of that environment ...
